In 1815 Breguet has become the official supplier of watches for the French Navy. The timepiece designed by the legendary master more than 200 years ago has inspired the designers from Breguet to create a collection of marine watches which recently has been replenished by a new watch with alarm clock function – Marine Royale.
The main peculiarity of the new Breguet Marine Royale 5847 watch is the alarm clock function. The tests proved that the sound of this alarm clock is heard underwater even better than on earth: the speed of sound waves increases with the density of the environment. Underwater more clear sound comes 4 times faster.
The crown and the push-piece are made of gold and protected with rubber “cap”. The watch is very convenient for the divers as its water resistance makes up 300 meters. The time is easily tracked with the help of the rotary bezel and luminescent markers and hands.
